From the cottage it's 35 minutes to ski resort and 20 minutes to hot springs; 10 minutes to ferry landing, golfing, general store, fishing supplies, bakeries, gas station; in the other direction, 5 minutes to Kokanee Creek Park boat launch and beach, store and connecting road to old growth forests, trails, private beach and zipline.

Small cabin with creek running underneath and surrounded by trees! Queen size bed and full size loft bed. A second cabin with a twin bed available for groups of 3 or 4 people. The two cabins share a bathroom in a separate building with a bathtub and an outdoor shower! 10 minutes to Kokanee Provincial Park with hiking and mountain bike trails galore! Relax in the hammock, have a campfire and cook up dinner with the outdoor bbq. Cold plunge fed by creek. Sauna on site not included (inquire).

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.
