There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

It benefits from a secluded patio to the side of the property It sleeps two people in one open plan space so, is ideal for couples or friends alike. It has a modern kitchen and en suite shower room. There is facility to store and dry wet gear. A short walk to the Dinorben Arms. Close to the Offa’s Dyke trail. Airbnb have changed how they collect fees. Prices haven’t gone up I promise. This cosy 'Red Shed' is tucked away in a tranquil 22 acre woodland in the Clwydian Hills, hosted by Rob & Claire. ​ Our quirky one-up, one-down self catering cabin is designed to accommodate 2 adults, but could sleep up to 4 if you don't mind being cosy... just ask! It is well equipped & most furnishings, including a beautiful greenwood bed are handmade. We welcome people attending craft courses in Wernog Wood, as well as walkers & other visitors to the area. All guests must be aged over 18yrs.

The property is also perfectly positioned for exploring Snowdonia, the castles of North Wales and historic Chester and Liverpool.

Ty Nain: Welsh hillside welcome

Ty Nain (which means Grandmas house in Welsh) is our beautiful Welsh long cottage, nestled into the foothills of the Clwydian Range. It’s the perfect to place to rest after a long day hiking Offas Dyke, a base to explore north east Wales or just to relax & unwind. The views across the valley mean you can see as far as Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and views of the Irish Sea (on a clear day!). The two bedroom cottage bungalow is an annexe to our family home, with its own private entrance & decking area.

The Hummingbird/Y Colibryn front flat

The Hummingbird (or Y Colibryn in Welsh) is a 500 year old Grade 2 listed building in the market town of Denbigh. The newly refurbished front flat has all the modern amenities that you would want, whilst retaining beautiful period details. The flat overlooks the high street, with shops, bars and restaurants a short walk away. There are fantastic hiking & cycle routes and a blue flag beach nearby, and five UNESCO world heritage sites and Snowdonia National Park around an hour's drive from here.

An excellent pub/restaurant, The Dinorben Arms, offers real ales and great food, just a 15 minute walk away. Convenient location for local walks on the hills, along the river or Offas Dyke path. Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.
