Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

With private parking and its own entrance, you can be sure of a wonderfully relaxed and peaceful stay. This area is a paradise for walkers, with many walks very close by, and a local pub only 1.5 miles down the road.

We are situated on the edge of the Wye Valley AONB, approximately 3 miles from the picturesque village of Symonds Yat and the stunning river Wye. Explore all that Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire has to offer. The Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and Malvern Hills are all within easy striking distance, and there are excellent transport links beyond to the Midlands and South Wales.

Pat's Flat - peaceful stay on a beautiful farm.

Pat's Flat: a converted Pig Barn located on a peaceful farm, within the beautiful Wye Valley AONB. The historic towns of Monmouth and Ross on Wye, the river and Forest of Dean with their outdoor leisure activities - canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking - are easily accessible. A couple of pubs, eateries and village shop are within a few miles walk. Sorry - no pets - this is a working farm and there are friendly Labradors in the adjoining property who are likely to come and say hello.

Walking distance to Monmouth town centre, with all local amenities, and the Royal Oak pub a 5 minute walk away. King size bed, in addition option to sleep up to 2 additional people on sofa bed & fold out bed. Mini fridge, kettle, toaster, private entrance to front of property, parking to side. The Haystore has been fully refurbished to provide gorgeous accommodation with direct access onto National Trust parkland and the Wye Valley AONB. Within walking distance is a farm shop, and a little further two award winning pubs. Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and the Black Mountains are a short drive making us an ideal base to explore the wider area.
