Waterfront Cottage with Covered Boat Slip

We offer a covered boat slip. Peaceful & secluded, yet walking distance from town. Full kitchen w/dishwasher, Keurig, W& D. Please note that this is a place for those that love outdoors & has no air conditioning, wi-fi or cable. Verizon & AT&T in area. Fire pit outside. We are pet friendly but we've had a few instances that have resulted in us having to adopt a pet policy & pet fee. We charge $25/night, per pet, max of $250. Upon booking, call us & we will send policy form & collect payment.

Summer in Northern Michigan is all about fresh air, lake days, golden evenings, small-town exploring, and slow mornings with coffee and birdwatching. Our peaceful Petoskey/Alanson-area retreat is a comfy home base for hiking, biking, and fishing/ kayaking—and also for shopping, dining, and scenic drives. Come home each evening to relax under a starlight canopy and s'mores at the fire pit. We’re booked for much of the season, but cancellations happen—and it’s never too early to plan ahead!

My little home has everything you need for your up north getaway with so many options of outdoor amenities/activities! Walking trail that leads to the cute town of Alanson where there is dining and shops. Take a dip in the pool and have a picnic, play tennis or pickleball. Enjoy a bonfire under the trees in the backyard. You can't beat the location, with easy access to Crooked River, Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Mackinaw City. *Boat Launch at the river for a $15 fee.

Kilmer Lodge Set in the woods

Kilmer Lodge is peaceful and centrally-located place between Indian River and Petoskey. Very close to snowmobile trails no driving required. There is plenty of space for snowmobile trailers with a circle drive. A quick 15 minute drive to Nubs Nob and 5 minute drive to Crooked Lake. A charming 3 bedroom home with living space on all three levels with walk out basement gives you and your family plenty of space. The third floor loft has a full bath with twin over queen bunk bed.
