Whether you are nature lovers, riders, or want a quiet personal or romantic retreat, our place is ideal. Walking, hiking, biking trails abound right from the property. Tucked into a magnificent redwood forest the cottage has a gas fireplace, reading chair, futon couch, good lighting, desk, and dining table. The kitchen contains basic staples, including teas and fresh organic eggs from our hens. A large claw-foot tub is in the bathroom and a shower is on the secluded west facing deck.

We’ve designed a large studio space with fluffy linens, handmade textiles, and natural touches to delight you. Walking distance to the beach, sunset views, a restaurant and store--it's a perfectly-situated restful nook on the coast. If you love a clawfoot tub, this place is for you (there is a comically-short shower intended only as a backup).

Our cabin is nestled among redwood trees a few miles from the wild Pacific Ocean, historic Mendocino, and the Anderson Valley wine country. A place to relax, recharge, or finish a creative project. Bookings include Mendocino County tourism tax. No pets due to wildlife, and host allergies. Note: bear, fox, hawks, quail, bats, lizards, banana slugs, bobcat, spiders are part of the forest ecosystem and may occasionally visit the vicinity.

Gas fireplace, Wi-Fi, small kitchenette, mini refrigerator, gas grill, electric cooktop, microwave, Keurig & French press coffee. Ocean view from Jacuzzi. Additional $25 for EV - $25 a day per pet up to 2 pets. We have list for wine, flowers for your special occasion. No Stove.

Water Tower Retreat

The Water Tower is tucked away and nestled among redwoods a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. This is a place to disconnect and reconnect with the surroundings. To unplug and decompress from busy life. About 5 miles from our town of Elk and a nice coastal drive 14 miles to the historic village of Mendocino. Our calendar is open 3 months in advance. This open, studio cottage features a full kitchen, fireplace, and ocean views from the living room and kitchen. Just around the dividing wall is a queen bed with access to the private back deck with forest views. Please note, the leather couch pictured has been replaced with a futon style convertible couch which we recommend for children.
