Our apartment sits right on the shores of Lough Conn in the heart of County Mayo, offering breathtaking views across the water and islands, with Nephin Mountain as your backdrop. Set on a private and secluded lakeside property, you can stroll along our sandy beach, wander through woodlands, reconnect with nature, swim in the lake, cast a line, or make friends with our donkeys. Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

The Red Fox Cottage

This is a lovely old style cottage attached to an Authentic local Irish Pub. It is self contained with front and rear entrances and parking. There are two open fireplaces. A great choice for a large family group, a group of friends, or a couple. Knock Ireland West International Airport is approx 30 mins away. There are woods, lakes and amazing beaches very close by. Ballina Town is only 8km away. Combine your stay with the perfect pint of Guinness and a chat with the locals, next door!

The river moy is a short distance from the cottage renowned for its salmon fishing. Foxford Town is a 7-minute drive from the Cottage and has many shops, pubs, and takeaways. The Moy Hotel Services breakfast and lunch daily. Foxford Woollen Mills has a gift shop and cafe.
