"The Lair" Guesthouse

"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee from 8 am to 4 pm everyday! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.

This is the home I live in and have raised my family. I camp in the summer , so I have decided to rent it out this summer season. You are walking distance from blueberry fields and Maidens Cliff, short drive to beach, lake and town of Camden. No neighbors close by so eat breakfast naked on the deck if that is your thing. Excellent space for pets . Enjoy your time in Maine. Laundry is in cellar but can only be accessed from outside door. My bedroom and downstairs closet locked.

Farm activities include looking after our flock of Katahdin sheep, laying hens, bee hives, fruit trees and vegetable and flower gardens. Activities nearby include skiing, rock climbing, boating, horseback riding, paddle boarding and swimming.

This charming spot overlooking the bay is laid back and welcoming. Fully furnished, including linens, basic beach supplies —towels, chairs and umbrella. There is wi-fi and a Roku TV included (you will need your own streaming accounts), an air conditioner, and balcony with a view of Penobscot Bay. We strive to be an allergen free space so do not allow animals. We use all essential oil natural products (bleach disinfectant where needed) and natural laundry soap for our linens.

Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
