Nestled at the foot of Whitehorse mountain in the midst of the North Cascades, a Shepherd’s Retreat is a working sheep farm. The farm is one of the few historic homestead farms in Snohomish County. Located within the North Cascades there is great hiking amazing views within a half hour drive. The town of Darrington is 5 miles away with restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery. The farmhouse has been recently updated and restored to allow guests maximum comfort, but able to live close to the land.

I dedicated a year to reclaiming this structure from a mill previously located near Seattle that was set to be demolished to make room for high density housing. Not only did I wish to save this building, I wanted to create a peaceful and romantic place where lasting memories would be made. As the cities grow, I believe special places like this become more important.

This cozy riverfront tiny cottage in Index is nestled in the evergreens and overlooks an amazing view of the Skykomish River. The cabin is a mixture of rustic and refined and will be enjoyed by those who want the experience of being in nature while keeping some of the comforts of home. The cabin has full wifi. There is no TV at the cabin but all your streaming options are available via your devices. There is hot running water in the cabin with an RV style toilet and shower.

When we began construction of the A Frame we aimed to curate a luxury escape where you can transcend the monotony of the day to day. This fully custom A frame cabin was hand crafted from salvaged old growth timbers and hand milled lumber. She is built to the highest quality and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

As dawn turns to daybreak, there’s nothing more pleasant than being drawn from slumber by the sun light springing through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and the sound of gushing water from Boulder Creek echoing through each surface of the property.
