Historical holiday house in the Dordogne valley

Superb house like no other in the Dordogne valley: on the square of a listed village, built in the 15th century, wood panelling from the 18th century, giant stone staircase and stone walls, big fireplaces... A lot of history packed in a spacious (1700 ft 2) house equipped with all the modern conveniences. Large bedrooms with each its bathroom. Ideally located to visit the area, Padirac, Rocamadour... Also close to shops and restaurants. Bed linen, towels, wifi and cleaning fees included.

The studio is located in the Chateau Salamon, which overlooks the Tarn river (or Lake of Lacroux) and benefits from an exceptional view. The omnipresent nature invites calm and relaxation. It has a private beach with pontoon and a "Jeu de boules" playground. Many activities: walks and hikes from the castle, canoes (included in the rental), fishing (with or without a fishing license), cultural visits, etc. Great attention has been paid to the pleasure, relaxation and aesthetics of the place.

I built my wooden house entirely and finished it in early 2024. I offer it for rent during the high summer season but also during the other 3 seasons which each offer their advantages. The creation of the sauna with its wood stove is to be able to enjoy the swimming pool in all seasons. (paid option) The swimming pool is not overlooked and offers a beautiful view of the valley and its natural landscape. This valley is also home to the village of Conques and its magnificent abbey church.

Notre ancienne bergerie de 80m2 est entièrement voutée. Elle se situe à 900m d’altitude en pleine nature et à flanc de falaise. C'est un lieu de tranquillité assurée à 5min de l'A75 (gratuite) et à l’intersection de 3 parcs naturels : l’Aubrac, les Cévennes et celui des Grands Causses. Le gîte est à 10min des commerces et à 30min des gorges du Tarn et de l'Aubrac. Amoureux de la pierre, du bois et du métal, vous serez conquis par ce lieu écoresponsable…
