Nap in a hammock to the sway of the breeze. Enjoy a place to rest after a grueling hike at Colorado Bend State Park (or the little nature walk). The space has a queen-size bed, a small space with a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and Keurig. The bathroom provides the basics and a shower. Come stay with us!

The 801 Cottage

Just a short drive to the Colorado Bend State Park! This home can sleep up to 6 guests W/ the fold-down couch. Shop Antiques on the square or visit one of our many nearby wineries! We offer a 2 hr early arrival convenience fee of $35, allowing for check-in at 1:00 PM. Confirmation must be made with the host. Pet friendly ( pets must be crated inside the home when left alone ). $40 pet fee. Please don’t try to sneak a dog in, April the housekeeper will know and a pet fee will be assessed.

The cabin was originally built for my Mother in law a cpl years ago. We want to share this cute and cozy place with you. You can enjoy the quiet country setting just 5 min. from town. Beautiful night skies without city lights. Relax on the porch and enjoy the quiet surroundings or explore Historic Lampasas and the many State Parks in the area, Texas Hill Country, Wineries or a trip to the big city of Austin, which is about 1 hour away. It's only a short trip to Ft. Cavazos, Marble Falls.

White tail deer and wild turkeys will come to eat from a feeder near the RV. We provide a dozen farm fresh eggs from our flock. Please note-we are 20 miles from a grocery store.
