The Cabin

Our cabin is a very cosy place to stay with en-suite facilities, double bed, satelite TV, microwave and tea and coffee. Situated in the grounds of Manor Cottage, which is one of the few original remaining buildings of the Manor built in the late 16th century. There is a downhill gravel driveway and onsite parking, Center of Mildenhall town, surrounded by bars, restaurants and nature walks. Some breakfast items included. This cabin is idealy suited for one person, but also equiped for two.

Converted rustic barn adjacent to main house. Access over gravel driveway. Private building with shared garden. Light and airy with French windows and roof lights. Exposed original beams. 2 rooms plus ensuite shower/loo. Please specify super kingsize OR twin beds when booking. Situated in a quiet village with easy access to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Cambridge, Norwich and coast. Friendly hosts, chickens, dog and cats on property and fresh eggs supplied. Swallow barn is a writer’s paradise!

A delightfully located 18th century brick & flint built thatched cottage set in half acre gardens adjacent to the parish church with views over grazing land to the rear. Recently added accommodation links the cottage to a former farm building, part of which is now a one bedroom guest annexe with own entrance, The Little Goat Shed. This can be booked with the thatched cottage if available or separately. A great location for nearby Lakenheath and Mildenhall air bases. No dogs or other pets.

The village has three pubs, a Co-op & Chinese takeaway all within walking distance. Good for walks around the local Marina or down The River Lark. Newmarket 20mins drive, Ely & Cambridge 30mins drive.

A beautiful, relaxing riverside lodge located at Isleham Marina. Set in open countryside with access to rural walks, swimming, cycling and bird watching. The lodge has fishing rights. Isleham village and Mildenhall stadium are a 30 minute walk away. The village has pubs, Co-Op store, restuarant and take away. The annex is fully self contained with a large bedroom, fully fitted kitchen, bath and shower and a large comfortable living/dining room. Outside there is a south facing patio area with table and chairs, this is shared with the owners. Off-road parking is available. Situated on the outskirts of Thetford, it's still only a 15 minute walk from the town centre, train and bus stations.
