East Texas is known for treasure hunting, comfort food, and piney forests. The Farmhouse Studio is known for country hospitality, serene views, and comfy sleeps. Don't forget your fishing gear for catch and release acre pond! Come to just get away from it all. Suitable for a couple or a family with small children under 10. Keurig, microwave, toaster, mini fridge provided. Fire pit, outdoor furniture provided. There is NO full kitchen and no pets are allowed. 24 hour notice required.

A Little Countryside Paradise

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

CABIN (Lake Fork Farm) Boat Ramp/Private Dock/Pool

Our newly built 1300 sf large private cabin nestled under a large oak tree, positioned right on the bank of our private 2.5 acre lake with its own dock. Sleeps up to six guests, plenty of parking, and has three beds, a 90-year-old restored pool table upstairs in the large loft, 3 porches (both back porches overlook the lake) and custom cabinets throughout made of local hickory. Enjoy all the displayed paintings, photography, sculptures and cut stones all created by the hosts.

Wildflower yurts are one of a kind romantic getaway for two! You have all the comforts of home, like heat & A/C, electricity, showers, toilets, & kitchenette. Beautiful sunrise/sunset views of farm country. Private shady spots in the trees perfect for reading a book in the hammock. Roast marshmallows in the fire pit, ride our bikes, play lawn games! We have three yurts on the property. The Honeysuckle, The Primrose and The Bluebonnet. All three can be booked on Airbnb.
