It was renovated in the Fall of 2016 and is the perfect setting for a relaxing/romantic getaway. Our inviting front porch beckons you to stay awhile. The living area of 1100 plus sq.ft. offers a Living Room, Kitchen/Dining Room combination, Bedroom, spacious Dressing Room and a Bath with large shower.

The Zydeco House

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The house is within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a 5 minute drive to Lake Martin where you can take a boat tour of the lake. It was built in 1906, 12’ ceilings and beautiful old wood floors. It is a classic Cajun design. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils . We stock the refrigerator with breakfast foods and the pantry is stocked with snacks and more. Pets are welcome.

The studio is close to the airport, downtown festivities, churches, shopping, and right off of I10 and I49, making it easy to get to wherever you want to be within minutes. Traveling without a vehicle is no issue, Uber is available.
