You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. A large comfy 14’X16’ safari tent on a deck 4.5’ off ground to take you away from it all! Luxurious King sized bed with memory foam mattress and a leather sofa bed. We are off grid so we provide a WOOD STOVE, wood bundles are $5 each, propane heater and power station provided for lights and charging your electronics. Extra guests after 2 are $15 pp. a night. Please let me know if you need more bedding beyond the first two guests.

You will have use of our entire main level, with 3 bedrooms, a brightly lit bathroom, large kitchen, formal dining, comfortable living room, deck with BBQ and a private setting with mature landscaping that provides incredible shade all afternoon. You are invited to stay in a Klickitat County landmark, listed on both the state and federal registers of historic places. The Red House built for the ‘Horse King of the Northwest’ Charles Newell and his wife Mary in 1890, is now a distinctive vacation rental. The Red House’s three stories are furnished with art, antique/vintage finds, colored glass windows, original ornamental trim, fresh linens and comfortable beds. The house is well equipped and designed for relaxing.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Enjoy the starry sky on our spacious deck, or a slow savoring of Pinot from a nearby vineyard.

Private guest suite nestled on the White Salmon River. This rustic 450-square-foot suite includes a queen sized bed, couch, table and chairs. Situated on ten acres of wild and rewilded vegetation, the suite enjoys mountain views and access to the river. Once a museum built to house primitive tools, it has been renovated into a cozy space which integrates original rustic building materials with new amenities and a private bathroom.

Our cozy 1 bedroom (queen bed) cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Please be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be required for accessing the property during the snowy season of December, January and February.
