This 3 bedroom cottage is located on the grounds of our own private home, adjacent to the main residence. 1 en-suite bedroom on the ground floor with 2 single beds & 2 first floor bedrooms, each with a double & a single bed. Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
