Seaside Home, Add on Seasonal Bunkhouse for 7!

A peaceful retreat, located at the serene southern end of the island. Our much loved family home, with two bedrooms and 1.5 baths( Bunkhouse offers two bedrooms with beds for 7). Watch the sun rise over the water, while listening to the gulls. A short 3/4 mile walk from beautiful Deep Cove beach. Seasonally, for guests with larger parties, we have just finished our bunkhouse, for an additional fee. Offering beds for 7 and an a generous living space, while sharing the facilities with the house.

Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Ledgelawn Cottage - Steps from Roque Bluffs Beach

Take a break and unwind at our charming seaside cottage, Ledgelawn. There are water views, ocean breezes, it is literally steps from the state park beach and pond, and you can listen to the waves while sitting on the expansive front porch or at night as you fall asleep. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are fully stocked with everything you need, and if you feel like going into town, it is a quick 12-minute drive up the road to Machias. You might not want to leave once you get here, though!

Large private lawn with a firepit and amazing views of ocean.

The main level hosts a king size master suite, beautiful chefs' kitchen, and 180-degree views. Enjoy the upper deck while getting lost in a book, grilling dinner or sneaking away to the private outdoor shower space. From the deck, you can access the downstairs where you will find an additional bedroom, bathroom and porch/deck.
