There is the opportunity for kayaking in the nearby lake or cycling / hiking up on the nearby low mountains. During the Northern Lights season, this accommodation is great for the best possible chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin has a toilet but no shower and running water, but its possible to wash your self in the exclusive wood heated sauna next to the cabin.

Welcome to stay in our cabin on our farm at the Torne River . The cottage sits together with an old wood workshop where ancestors made traditional wooden boats for the Torne river for generations. The secluded and open location in the river valley makes it perfect for viewing the beautiful northern lights in wintertime, there are no distracting streetlights or traffic. Located 6km from Jukkasjärvi and Icehotel. 25 km from Kiruna (20min by car on good maintained road).

Heavenly lodge retreat in a Lapland forest

Our lodge is built to a high standard with many of the luxuries you would expect at home and yet it oozes that cosy, warm feeling you only get from an old style forest cabin. We offer two double or twin bedrooms, one double/family room for up to four people (2 twins and 2 bunk beds) and two bathrooms with showers (no bath tub). One bathroom is downstairs by the entrance to the lodge. The central living area has a small kitchen and open lounge/dining area.

Arctic Island Main cabin

Lehtisaari is a small Arctic Island paradise with three cabins on Torne River. Each self-catering unit has a kitchenette with a fridge, two-burner stove with small oven, kettle, microwave and a dry toilet. There is no running water on the island, so you can collect fresh water from the river pump and clean yourself in the traditional Sami way, in your private sauna. Minimum 2 night stay, compulsory scheduled snowmobile transfers have to be pre-booked.

Charming cottage Torne river

Private located at our homestead in the small village of Paksuniemi, 6km from Jukkasjärvi. The cottage has views over the Torne river valley with access through our own courtyard. Open space to easy walk and look at the nightsky with stars and aurora, without disturbing lightpollution. The quiet, secluded and open location makes easy access to walk or ski out on the frozen river on the skitrack or snowmobile track in winter/springtime. Welcome!

Mushers Lodge - apartment on a husky farm

Simple, but cozy apartment directly located on our husky farm. The apartment is situated in the little village Kauppinen, approximately 10km from Kiruna City. The little village Jukkasjärvi, home to the famous Icehotel, is about 5km far away. In Jukkasjärvi you also find the closest supermarket. An own car is recommended, but otherwise limited public transfer is available, too.
