Enjoy a private home while exploring the western North Carolina beauty. For more, read on. Here's a review left by my most recent guests: Five stars. Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Beautiful Cozy Mountain Retreat

This beautiful space is a large, 1600 sq foot downstairs basement apartment, with a private entrance through the shared garage. It is a quiet peaceful area and is conveniently located nearby unique shopping in Cashiers, as well as beautiful gorgeous hikes, waterfalls. and lakes. An outdoor deck circles the entire length of the apartment and many windows provide a beautiful view of the mountain. At the Wyndham Resort and for $9 per person you may have access to all their amenities for 3 days.

Creek, pool, hot tub, gym, trails, playground

Resort community was not impacted by the hurricane. Pool, hot tub, clubhouse, gym, playground & trails. Fish or tube on the creek. Casper memory foam mattresses. No steep drives. Many close restaurants and breweries. Enjoy the NOC, Blue Ridge Parkway & Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Convenient to gorgeous hiking, zip lining, rafting, tubing, trail riding & boating. 6 mins to Western Carolina University WCU, 9 mins to Castle Ladyhawke, 35 mins to Ski Sapphire & 55 mins to Cataloochee Ski.

Quiet, secluded country cottage guest house. Walking distance to a river, hiking trails and waterfalls. Super comfy, this space has everything you'll need for a trip to the beautiful NC mountains.
