Four comfortable beds in 3 BR's, a main bath with a bidet, old records (33 1/3 LP's), an extensive library, washer and dryer, a recreation room in the 2 car garage designed for the whole family-pool table, foosball, table tennis, darts, treadmill, weights. Covered patio, an outdoor swing. All on Greenhorn Creek.

We are located just 7 miles off I-25 Walsenburg exit 49 with plenty of privacy and room to slow down and relax! We welcome guests of all backgrounds and your well behaved canine friends too. This riverfront home is tucked away from the main road and serenaded by the Huerfano River. Modern construction with a southwestern vibe includes heated floors and a fully outfitted kitchen and lots of covered outdoor lounging areas (two covered porches and a screened in porch). Access to the Huerfano River and this corner of Redwing Ranch are included (map will be at the house). Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Dogs are allowed with approval and a pet fee.

Wahatoya Guesthouse

Wahatoya Guesthouse is approximately one mile from La Veta. This spot is private and tranquil, with amazing views of the Spanish Peaks. You will be within walking distance of two Colorado State Wildlife lakes that offer fishing, hiking, and biking. The quaint town of La Veta offers art galleries, Francisco Fort Museum, a brewery, a seasonal wine bar, live music, locally owned restaurants and businesses, including a wonderful grocery store and soda fountain.

River's Bend

Located on the bank of the Cucharas River, the River's Bend ideal mountain retreat is geared for a family vacation, or personal restorative get away. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!

This property is nestled in Greenhorn valley, right under the shadow of the mountain. Seeing wild deer, turkeys, foxes and other wildlife native to the mountain wilderness is a daily occurrence. Our simple but charming cottage provides the perfect jumping point to a vast array of trails, lakes, and points of interest. You can bring your dogs per request(No cats) as there is huge fenced dog yard. A photographers dream and a nature lovers retreat.
