A charming one-bedroom suite in a rural neighborhood 10 minutes by car from downtown Hudson. Your rental is an independent unit next to the main house. It has a full kitchen, bathroom, electric fireplace and a private backyard with a grill, firepit and pool (June to Sept.). If we are around, we give you privacy. Our well-appointed, first floor guest suite is a centrally-located, cozy place to stay in Hudson, just a 12 minute walk from the Amtrak train station, and ideal for those without the need for a kitchen who plan to eat out at the great restaurants within walking distance. Guests will enjoy staying in a home built in 1834 that has been tastefully updated and renovated, with high ceilings, a mix of modern and retro furniture, and a bedroom connected by French doors to a living room with sofa bed.

Hiker's nest

This is a cozy room with private forest views and all the basic amenities (small kitchenette). We are located next to the entrance of Mount Beacon park (the free Loop Bus from the station drops you on our corner), a three-minute walk to the trail entrance, and a 25 minute walk to the train station and Main Street. The room is attached to the main house, but you have your own entrance with code access. We live in the main house, so we are here to answer questions or help with your stay.

the farmhouse suite @barn & bike

A 620 sq ft. fully private suite with own entrance. The early American farmhouse is highlighted by a darling kitchenette, hot steam shower and original MCM furniture. We live on the other side of the eyebrow colonial, originally built in 1800. Please see the other details to note, including that the kitchenette has an induction stove top and convection air fryer toaster oven. It's a great for light cooking. Please ask for a grill for cooking meat and greasy food. Thank you!

Sunny and Spacious Studio - a serene getaway

Modern Light Filled Garage Conversion with a small kitchen, full bath with an open deck off the back. A beautiful quiet spot with birds, tall trees and a small creek on 3 acres. The bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed with a small ladder to a little sleeping loft for the kids. There is also a pull out couch in the open kitchen living room area with a deck off the back. This is a small apartment attached to our house that has been designed with care and privacy in mind.

Space has everything you need for a retreat away from it all – a meditation nook for 2, yoga mats to use inside or out on the deck, hot tub to soak cares away and relax after a day out and about in the beautiful Catskill mountains. Hot tub is in 3-acre backyard with privacy enclosure, so bathing suits are optional (we provide bathrobes.)
