Outside you’ll find a pleasant outhouse plus a gas grill, a large fire pit w/ seating, shed for storing equipment, and spacious deck. Enjoy quiet seclusion and natural beauty in your own private paradise.

Beautiful hand built cabin, overlooking Cotton Pond. Ten minutes from Camden, the sailing mecca of the east coast. Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

Open concept small studio, private patio and entrance, full kitchen. *SHARED wall between studio and main house, therefore some shared noise. 2 minute walk to the ocean , Lobster and Blues Festivals. A small swimming beach is a 5 minute walK, 5-10 minutes to the Farnsworth and CMCA museums, Strand Theater, restaurants, antiques shops & galleries. ALSO NOTE we do not have television. We have wifi but you must bring your own device . EXEMPT FROM ACCEPTING SERVICE DOG

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

George Hill Farm

Quiet open space studio apartment 15 min. from mid-coast area of Camden, Rockport, and Rockland, Maine. Apartment is large (1400 sq. ft.) sunny, bright, set in a large meadow with expansive views of blueberry fields and surrounding hills of Hope/Appleton. Fully equipped for a comfortable stay or retreat. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families welcome. Comfortably sleeps 4. Note: Our well behaved dogs visit the barn downstairs from time to time.

Cozy home near the coastal town of Camden, Maine!

This home is in a country setting on Hatchet Mountain in Hope near the beautiful Maine coast and about 8 miles from Camden. About a mile from our home, is Hobbs Pond (2 miles long!) with public access for swimming, boating and kayaking. Hiking trails surround us, too! Beaver Lodge, a favorite spot for weddings and other family events, is also nearby. This listing has an exemption for all animals. For safety reasons, it may not be suitable for young children.

Dome 4 at Come Spring Farm

Our geodesic domes sit in on 10 acres of our property . In total come spring farm is 28 acres , you will have access to round pond to kayak , fish or swim. You may also visit the Alpacas , bunnies , pigs , sheep and our new lounge area opening June . The bathroom facilities are private for each dome, no sharing .You will need to walk to bathhouse .
