Once known for being the location of a small bait store, the property has been transformed into a charming cabin like home with a high perched porch and deck overlooking the water.

Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

The cottage is walking distance to the square where you will find soft music playing as you stroll the streets, picturesque oak trees, stylish boutiques and cuisine to fit any taste pallet. It is less than 10 miles to the Dothan Airport.
