Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit our Nubian Goats Dolly, Daisy, and Dixie.

Please note that it is not suitable for infants or children ages 0-12. If you're dreaming of a getaway to the Great Smoky Mountains and are concerned about steep, curvy mountain roads, the Barn Quilt Farmhouse is the perfect place to stay. You'll enjoy mountain views, EASY paved access AND a level drive.

Unique Barn on an organic farm

When I built our barn a while back Airbnb didn't even exist and we were excited to be starting a goat dairy . Now the kitchen sits where we used to milk our sweet goats by hand! We are happy to offer our guests a unique living space located in the heart of the mountains, 30 minutes from Asheville. You are welcome to roam our 28 acres on our trail system, swim in the pond, and decompress from your daily routine. Cell service is limited but we have Fiber Optic Wifi for calling & streaming.
