The Studio

The Studio sits on the edge of our Ancient Woodland in the grounds of our house and close to the village of Pett. A former music and art studio the building is now a relaxing retreat for those looking for quiet and nature. Open plan living with wood burning stove and everything you might need, including a grand piano! Luxurious king bedroom with roll top bath and a separate shower room. The village of Pett has two pubs which are walkable and we are close to the unspoiled beach at Pett Level.

Rural RetreatQuiet and isolated

Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. There is also a kettle and toaster, cutlery etc. Youngs garden stable block is on the edge of a charming old village in East Sussex, within striking distance of Bateman's ( home of Rudyard Kipling ) and many other historic sites such as Bodiam castle, Scotney castle, and many more. The village is approximately a 10 minute walk and has 2 pubs and a small supermarket.

My place is close to Ashdown Forest and half hour drive to Glyndborne Opera House. Sussex Coast is within easy reach. Royal Tunbridge Wells 20mins away with the famous Pantiles. Many historical Villages nearby including Mayfield and Burwash. My large garden is full of wild life with two resident badger sets. White Deer are frequent visitors and can often be seen at dawn and dusk from the terrace. Foxes and family of Hare. More recently, we have two families of the protected Hedge Hogs.

Pancake Lodge is a perfect sanctuary with four poster bed and hot tub. This quirky cabin sits amongst a working apple farm with beautiful views across the glorious Greensand Ridge. Guests can relax in the fabulous surroundings and indulge in scenic walks using the many public footpaths that cross the farm. There are also many local walks too. The historic Leeds Castle is a 5 minute drive, many local pubs and restaurants and the south east coast is within easy reach.

Holthurst - Modern seafront flat

Holthurst, a stylish flat with balcony in an Edwardian Villa right on the seafront near the De La Warr Pavilion and town centre. Ideal for 2 or 3 people. Shared entrance hall but once in the flat, it's just yours. No pets. The flat has appeared on a Royal Mail postage stamp! Shepherds hut, wonderful views & 4 nosey alpacas.

Looking for a romantic countryside escape with a few unusual neighbours! Our cosy shepherd’s hut sits beside a fenced field where our four, new but friendly alpacas live, so you’ll have some very charming company during your stay (possibly a few sheep!). Spend your days hiking, visiting Brighton/Eastbourne, or simply relaxing on a deck chair with a glass of Prosecco.
