Our 1847 farmhouse is centrally located on Mt.Desert Island. A private entrance leads to an upstairs, sunlit, suite with a queen bedroom, living room with futon, private bath, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. The house and stable, which once served the livery needs of Mt. Desert, are located on one of the major island roads. Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and the 'Quiet Side' of MDI are all close by, but be prepared for summer traffic.

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Surrounded by cedar and pine trees, our nature haven has beautiful river and forest views. As you arrive, you’re greeted by large tree Carvings (Tamtams) from the South Pacific. Our large deck with fire pit is ideal for meals and a morning coffee watching and listening to the woodpeckers, loons and eagles. A highlight is the forest outdoor bath and shower. Whimsical bridges and a dock highlight the river, creek and ponds that house this nature retreat.
