Welcome to Hummingbird House, where you can rest and relax in your own container home in the country. We have designed two containers with your comfort in mind. Whether you want to relax inside the bedroom and listen to our record collection or chill out in the large outdoor tub surrounded by our lush landscaping we will make sure you have everything you need. If you want to wander to Round Top, Lockhart (Best BBQ in TX) Smithville (aka Hope Floats movie) COTA Race track, or a trip into Austin.

Canyon Lake Basecamp

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located single family home in Tamarack shores at Canyon Lake. Comfortable home away from home feeling within 1 mile distance to lake access and Old Hancock trailhead where you can enjoy a 7 mile “hike”. Bring the kids and enjoy Canyon Lake’s pristine lake water as well as other hill country favorites in the surrounding area, or simply come to unwind and relax. New home, built September 2021. Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Our garage loft is a renovated and refurnished 900sf apartment. Clean, simple spaces and furnishings make for a relaxing getaway. We are in the Monte Vista Historic District, a 1-mile square walkable neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown and a 1.5 miles from the Pearl District. Our main house is a 1914 Prairie Style residence sheltered by the largest oak tree in San Antonio. We are happy to share our back yard, pool pavilion, and pool during our guests' stays.

Located less than 2 mins from more than 10 incredible wineries, a quick 8 mins to Johnson City, or 20 mins to Fredericksburg, this cabin is remote, yet convenient.
