Cabin in the country on private fishing ponds.

A private cabin located on two private ponds which are great for hanging out or catching bass, catfish, perch or crappie. The large pond is shared with other properties but there are flat bottom boats that can be used to explore both ponds. This cabin is great for getting away from it all. It is located just outside of Rusk, TX so it is still only about a 5 minute drive to town. There are speakers and lights outside for night time enjoyment and a fire pit for an evening fire. A secluded retreat!

Cabin 2 directly on the lake!

We have 3 cabins on Houston County Lake that rent separately. 1&2 have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a loft. The 3rd is a Studio. Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom. The guest room has a full-size bunk bed that can sleep 4. The loft has two twin beds in Cabin 1 and a queen mattress in Cabin 2. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. We also have a Roku TV and WIFI. We have a covered Pavilion with Pickleball, basketball, and other games.

Wheneverwood Hideaway: FREE farm fresh eggs w/stay

Unique and tranquil getaway. We have all the amenities you will need for a great stay. A stylish little cabin in the country with access to walking trails, a pool, and a hot tub($) at the main house. We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

Lake House Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the piney woods of east Texas. Cabin is typically quiet but road construction is by the property currently. Sits on the edge of a cow pasture where cows moo(DO NOT FEED, they’re large and can hurt you, NOT RESPONSIBLE for people who have messed with cows.) Also has a pond with ducks that quack. (You’re welcome to feed them by the fence.) *No dishwasher, if allergic to Gain febreeze plug-in contact owner prior to arrival.

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Little House By the Lake

(SMOKE FREE PROPERTY) This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. THE HOUSE HAS A FAINT CIGARETTE SMELL. FEW NOTICE. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE SMOKE SENSITIVITY.

Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. Owen's Pond Cottage with serene and private areas

Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful cottage. Enjoy the well appointed, mostly secluded, home amid the trees. Visit in surrounding areas for antiquing, festivals, fishing, drive through safari and holiday activities. Miniature donkeys can be heard braying. 1 to 2 Small to medium size dogs welcome. Comfortable for 5 persons although 6 persons can fit. No fencing on property and the Kayak is just for decoration. Insurance stays welcome
