This is a beautiful apartment that is 2400 square feet. It is above a tax business but has a separate entrance with a 2 car unattached garage that has one side that is available. This building is over 100 years old and still have the original charm of the century with the necessary updates for conmfort. We are excited to share this beauty with guests! Gowrie is a charming small town with a grocery store, several cute shops, roller skating rink and a pool in the summer. We hope you will enjoy it!

The Olive House

Cute and quiet neighborhood located in the historic town of Jefferson, Iowa famous for its Bell Tower Festival and often a host town for Rag Brai! This 3 bed room home has the original hardwood floors. The decor is farmhouse and English Cottage Style. Relax as a couple or with the whole family at this peaceful abode located only 2 blocks from the east edge of town and also the River Raccon Trail, which bikers and walkers often enjoy! And oh, by the way, it leads all the way to Des Moines!

Two blocks from downtown Jefferson and within walking distance of Hy-Vee everything is at your fingertips. Two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs, large bathroom with large walk-in shower and a separate bathtub to take a long soak you'll be sure to relax.

Come sleep under the stars in this cozy galaxy bell tent. You can enjoy a good nights sleep in the comfortable King bed and stay comfortable with an air conditioner and heater. There is also a fridge for keeping your food fresh. Soak up nature while you hike the trails around Oak Haven Acres, a 32 acre farm in rural Iowa. For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.

Pattee’s Place - 2 bedrooms 2 bath

I welcome guests to a safe quiet neighborhood. This is a cape cod style home with Bedroom 1 on main level and Bedroom 2 on second floor. Please note, there is no bathroom on the second floor. The kitchen, dining area, full bath and comfortable living room are also on main level. The laundry and additional 3/4 bath are located in basement. I do not charge a cleaning fee at this time.

Backyard Oasis! (Pool is OPEN for Summer!)

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This is a beautifully, remodeled home with a shared backyard space that includes an inground heated pool and 2 Hot Tubs for summertime fun! One Hot Tub and the pool is closed for the winter. Brand new kitchen and bathroom. 3 bedrooms, electric fireplace and 2 Smart TV’s. Everything you need for a nice relaxing stay.

Gowrie Guest House

Small town charm, quiet neighborhood, Gowrie has something for everyone! Grocery store, three city parks, golf course, roller skating rink, swimming pool, disc golf coarse, two restaurants, clinic & pharmacy, and several unique shops. Pet boarding is available at the veterinarian only five blocks away on this same street.
