I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Its only a 20 minute drive to Limerick City and close to Clare Glens and Glenstal Abbey. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Self catering cottage set at the foot of the Galtee Mountains in the Glen of Aherlow adjacent to the village of Bansha. Cottage was an old forge which was renovated recently. This 1 bed cottage has all the mod cons you need for a relaxing stay and is located c.2km from the village of Bansha . It is also less than 10mins to the towns of Cahir and Tipperary and under 15mins to the historic town of Cashel. It is also less than 5 mins drive to the famous wedding venue, Kilshane House.
