Riverland View is situated in the beautiful Maam Valley. Ideally located for access to Killary Fjord, Westport, Clifden and Galway City. Beaches, mountains, cycling and walking routes are within easy reach. The house has three bedrooms, a king with en-suite, a twin room with WC and one double. A cosy living room with a wood burning stove and a spacious kitchen/diner. An outside area to sit and enjoy the views. Electric rads throughout. Possibly one of the most beautiful views and locations overlooking Dogs bay beach and sitting at the foot of Errisbeg hill, 6 minute drive from the picturesque fishing village of Roundstone. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery on the west coast of Ireland. Looking out across the Atlantic Ocean at the Aran islands, gurteen beach and dogs bay beach. Hill climbing to the rear and beach walks to the front of the cottage, there are possibly few locations to compare with this cottage

Joyce's Cottage

Joyce's Cottage, one of two adjoining traditional cottages (the other being Derrypark Cottage) lies below the imposing Partry mountains on the shore of Lough Mask. This is the very best of Connemara. Solitude, peace and breathtaking scenery. Visitors can swim from their private beach, go for a cycle (bikes available) or simply sit outside and take in the spectacular scenery. A short drive (45 mins) over the mountains brings you to numerous secluded beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Hill View House

This is a beautiful newly refurbished two bedroom attached house with panoramic mountain views. Maméan Hike is a 5 minute drive away. Recess is a 15 minute drive away with Joyce's Bar serving food and drink and a has a craft shop also. It is also the home of the Connemara Giant. Kylemore Abbey and Letterfrack are a 20 minute drive away where you can explore local history and take a hike on Diamond Hill. Clifden is a 30 min drive which has shops, cafes, traditional pubs and music.
