Near wineries, beaches, hiking, biking and Sleeping Bear National Park & Lake Michigan. Herring Lake across the street. Also included is dock access (for walking/sitting) and kayaks at your own risk. Crystal Mountain fifteen minutes by car. Backyard fire pit for guests to use. Note: steep driveway in the winter you will need a four wheel drive vehicle.

The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

The cottage has it's own sandy beach and shares the dock and swim platform with the main house. There is a private yard and kayak launch . The cottage has a small kitchenette, fridge and a gas grill for preparing meals. Come get away from it all in this cozy cottage with new and comfy furnishings. Beulah and Empire are 15 minutes from the cottage, while Frankfort and Glen Arbor are about 20 minutes away. There are several great restaurants, and breweries nearby.
