SILVER MOON, a Yurt for All Seasons

Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Our family is excited to share our off-grid *lite* cabin with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s bright, beautiful, and full of color. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, beach cruisers, an outdoor shower, hot tub, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and a cozy wood stove in the winter.

Located about a 1/4 from groomed X-country ski trails. Thank you for considering the Hideaway for you stay. The house is well equipped for your comfort. Located near the Hulls Cove park entrance and beach. This private cabin is located 10 minutes from bar harbor and Acadia National Park hiking trails. Beautiful view of Cadillac mountain from the patio/bbq area. All linens, cookware, towels etc are provided. There is WIFI in the cabin now. The cabin is on the family property of a commercial fishing family. You will see plenty of lobster traps! :) it will be an authentic Maine experience.

We have an open, airy studio apartment with a queen bed, twin bed, and twin trundle under the twin, private bathroom and full kitchen, located approximately 25 miles, or about a 40 minute drive, from Acadia National Park. Pets are welcome as we have a small fenced in area in the backyard. Bring home a lobster and cook it in the fully furnished kitchen.
