The Understory: Private Retreat with Outdoor Tub

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. Inside consists of 350 square feet of comfortable living space including a rain shower, king sized bed, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is another 500 square feet of living space with a deck, outdoor soaking bathtub, and patio with a fire pit and propane grill.

Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, the unit has its own private entrance, on-site parking, patio, hammock, and a super comfy bed. Modern Cabin Retreat w/ Sauna

This space was designed with love and care and the hope that all who stay here feel relaxed and connected to nature. We recently added a cedar barrel sauna that heats up quickly and is user friendly. Often we don’t see guests but I’m always available for questions and recommendations. We live "next door" on the same property with our two young sons. The cabin is located in a neighborhood, so while it hopefully feels removed from any hustle and bustle, there is access to many conveniences.

Magical mountain home! This new 4 bedroom home, completed in July 2018, sits nestled above Carrier Park with sweeping, panoramic views of the mountains and the French Broad River. Perfect for a family vacation or a getaway. Enjoy an easy stroll to Asheville Adventure Park where you can rent tubes and kayaks for a spectacular ride on the river. Only a short drive or Uber ride to downtown, the house is a wonderful retreat furnished in a contemporary decor. It was unscathed by the storm.

Beautiful lower level guest suite in our West Asheville home. Visitors will enjoy a private deck and self- check in key pad entrance to come and go with ease. You’ll enjoy a king bed, a sofa seat that folds out into a single bed and a newly renovated bathroom. Also, while you are planning your time on the town enjoy plenty of snacks, wine, a mini-fridge, microwave & dish-ware. NOTE: My partner and I live in the upper two levels of the home so you will most likely hear footsteps.

Romantic, Moroccan-Influenced Cottage

One of a kind artist owned and designed cottage in heart of East-West Asheville. Walkable to restaurants/shops, 2 miles from downtown and 5 minutes to Biltmore Estate. TWO beds total. The cottage has a Moroccan vibe and includes handmade pottery, art, and textiles. Walls are clay plaster and all bedding is cotton. Eco friendly cleaning supplies used. Try the outdoor tub for hot bath also! Parking is on Bradley street in front of the cottage or main house.
