Welcome to Velouria, our cabin in the redwoods of northern California. With a cosy loft bedroom in the main house, a romantic wood burning stove, a guest cabin located on the property and an outdoor hot tub, full kitchen surrounded by vaulted redwoods. It has everything to make your forrest retreat perfect. It's close to downtown Guerneville and many beautiful local attractions, nature trails and renown vineyards. It also has a big comfy couch and great Entertainment Center for those rainy days!

My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

Tucked amongst Redwoods and ivy on the hill, our forest getaway has a magical feel. Escape the hustle, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the upgraded home. Walk down to the river or the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Woods State Park are a 5 min drive. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet). Russian River Wine Valley -The Attic at the Red Chateau is the complete private top floor of an old river cottage w/ private entry. Feel as if you have stepped into a charming tree-house in the woods. 600 square feet (not including deck) and modern amenities, space boasts unique angles, designs, windows and forest views. Private deck & trail to beach - 7 min walk through Steelhead State Park. Abundance of wineries and great restaurants close by.
