The Posada Colonial is exclusive to each family or group, secured, gated and central to all activities. The home and studio apartment face the Rio La Palma and the famous Arenal Volcano. We have WI-Fi, Sky TV, Air Conditioning, patio dining and all surrounded by flowers, birds, butterflies and can accommodate up to 12 people. The home is fully equipped and Miriam's breakfasts are included in the price, The most common response when people arrive is that "The pictures don't do it justice".

It now has two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, deck, and laundry room all on one level and with wide doors to make it wheelchair friendly. My mother built this as her retirement house. She wanted a cozy, comfortable, house with a beautiful view. Wood floors, fireplace with firewood provided for the chilly Monteverde nights, beautiful windows so that you are looking down on the tops of the trees in the river gorge.
