A cosy little stockhouse_the archipelago of Maxmo

A modest, over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Vanaja cottage, Ascetic Cabin with Beach and Sauna

Ascetic remote old Finnish cottage with own beach and sauna. In midsummer there is also bilberry (nordic blueberry) fields right next to the cottage! At the cottage you can enjoy a romantic holiday in a historic milieu or just go and relax with your friends and take a rowing boat to the lake. The cottage has no electricity or running water, wood heating. You can cook with wood heated stove. Blankets, pillows, and mattresses can be found in the cottage. Please bring your own sheets & towels.

Stay North - Porkkalanniemi

Porkkalanniemi is a newly built Nordic-style home completed in 2025, offering space for up to 8 guests. Inside, modern design & large windows frame the surrounding sea and sky, while three bedrooms and four bathrooms provide comfort for families or groups. Outdoors, a sauna with water views, a wide terrace with a pool, jacuzzi, & direct access to the pier connect the stay to the shoreline. Thoughtful details, from the main bedroom to the guest cabin, make the house both inviting and functional.

There is a central heating and an additional fireplace, indoor toilet, shower and sauna. Drinking water from tap. During summer you can relax on hammock or by the outdoor fireplace. Myllymäen päälle omin käsin rakennetussa villa Myllymäessä on helppoa rentoutua ja päästä lähelle luontoa nauttien upeista maisemista. Koko päätyseinän kokoinen ikkuna kehystää upean järvimaiseman. Tilalla on n. 40 hehtaaria eläinten laiduntamaa metsää joka takaa helppokulkuiset ja hienot patikointimaastot. Etäisyys Savonlinnan keskustaan on 10km autolla tai 6 km veneellä. Tilalla on myös yksityinen laavu lammen rannalla yhtä upein näkymin.

Beautiful villa by the sea

In 2022 completely renovated villa by the sea with a private and heated swimming pool only an 80km drive from Helsinki and 35 minutes drive from the centre of Porvoo. Here you can enjoy the peace of your own private yard in a villa decorated beautifully in a modern scandinavian style. The heated swimming pool is included in the price and is in use from May 8th until October 18th in 2026.
