Located close by are many popular public amenities including Claremont Pool, Lake Claremont Golf Course, Challenge Stadium and Claremont Showgrounds and more. BEDROOM: You will find a queen size real bed with a north-facing aspect comfortable bedding and linen, LCD TV with built-in DVD and clock radio. built in robe SECOND BEDROOM 2 Single beds, built in robe overhead fan SITTING ROOM: Reverse cycle aircondioning with an extremely comfortable three-seat sofa facing a second TV.   • My family and I stayed at Brenda's for two nights and loved it! We really appreciated having our own area with private entrance and the off street parking was definitely a bonus. Everything was as described (if not better!) The space was well equipped and Brenda has really put a lot of thought into the place - we appreciated the little touches that made the place a home away from home - tea, chocolate, eggs in the fridge, stationery for our use - even a hair straightener was provided. We didn't get the chance to meet Brenda in person but Sarah gave us a lovely introduction to the place and they both made the process really easy. Thank you for a great Airbnb experience!

  • Brenda's place was amazing and my friends and I have absolutely no complaints at all! The house was clean, spacious and warm, and accommodated all of our needs perfectly. The bed sheets were also really comfortable and the shower was incredible! Additionally, Brenda was very friendly. If I ever return to Perth, there is absolutely no doubt I would choose to stay at Brenda's place again :)

She knows the University of Western Australia very well both as a current postgraduate student and former lecturer. UWA is also where she obtained her undergraduate degree. Your room has a queen sized bed with all bedding provided and an electric blanket for winter. It has an air conditioner as well as a fan. There are flannel sheets on the bed in winter for extra warmth. There is a tv with Apple tv available which gives you all the smart tv functions. Fast internet!
    The house is in a leafy, quiet street in historic Claremont with shady, safe, unlimited and free street parking outside the house available for your car. Cottesloe Beach is a 15-minute bike or a 15 minute bus ride away. UWA is 10 minutes by a bus with the bus stop 3 minutes walk away. Perth and Fremantle are easily accessible by nearby buses or trains. Claremont Showgrounds are a 10-minute walk away. It is a 10 minute walk to the Swan river foreshore and there are many beautiful places for walking, biking and jogging. It is a 5 minute walk to 2 gyms, one an excellent general gym, Essence gym, the other specialising in Pilates, Bodywise. For delicious breakfasts and lunches It is a 5 minute shady walk to Domain on Loch (URL HIDDEN) "Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and coffee from 7 am. Domain on Loch is the result of more than 30 years experience in the restaurant and catering industry by its award winning Chef Owner. The success of Domain on Loch is testament to its food, its coffee, its friendly staff and its desire to be “the place the locals love”. They are at 30 Loch St, on the corner of Bedford St, in Nedlands. Their Menus change frequently, taking advantage of the best available local produce and our valued customers’ suggestions."
  • Maureen is a very friendly and hospitable host! Her place is located in a quiet neighbourhood with some good restaurants nearby and a 24h pharmacy as well. The room I stayed in is just right for me, nice comfy bed with an electric blanket that kept me warm throughout the night in winter! I also enjoyed the breads and spread of jams that she provides for breakfast daily, together with coffee and fresh fruits. Felt so at home at her place. Overall, it has been a wonderful stay for me and I would recommend her place to anyone who is looking for a unique Airbnb experience in Perth.

    The apartment is a clean, light, well appointed space next to a park in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood. It is close to bus and train services to Perth and Fremantle, the prestigious Claremont shopping precinct, pristine beaches, sports centres....
    Our home is located next to a leafy park and features a permaculture garden. Your accommodation is at the back of the house with separate access via a gate off the park-side driveway. Some steps lead to a paved patio area with two more steps to reach the sliding glass door to the apartment. The apartment comprises a bedroom with a queen size bed, bedside tables with lamps and a dressing table. A walk-in robe with a luggage bench, mirror, ironing board and iron adjoins the bedroom as does an en suite bathroom with bath, shower and handbasin. There is a separate toilet with bidet seat off the bathroom. The living space includes cooking facilities with basic equipment, a cooking range, small refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster and stick mixer with various attachments. There is an extendable dining table with two chairs, a two seater and single seat lounge suite, coffee table and television as well as a bookcase with a selection of reading materials and a couple of boardgames. A table with two chairs outdoors is there to enable you to enjoy the air and garden view.
    Claremont is an established suburb midway between Perth city and Fremantle and is serviced by the Fremantle train line and the number 27 bus. Check the transperth.wa.gov.au/Journey-Planner website. Our local train station, Loch Street Station, is about a ten minute walk and Claremont Station is a pleasant 25 minute walk (just under 2km). The Number 27 bus in Alfred Road is 5 minutes away. A cycle path follows much of the rail line from Perth to Fremantle. See the transport.wa.gov.au/activetransport/24024.asp website. A delicatessen, hairdresser, medical centre, newsagent, and liquor store are a short walk away on the way to Loch Street Station. Claremont is a fashionable shopping precinct and has cafes, restaurants, a public library and night life to suit most tastes. You can take the train from Loch Street or walk the 2km there. Also close by are public amenities including Claremont Pool, Lake Claremont par 3 golf course and café, a delightful walk and cycle way around the lake, HBF Stadium (3.3km drive), WA Athletics stadium, Claremont Showgrounds, the Swan River (3km walk), popular beaches for swimming, fishing and snorkelling, and more.   • We were warmly welcomed by Marj and Jim and everything that was listed was there. We hired a car so didn't need transport. However it's a 10min walk to the nearest train station which is on the Perth-Fremantle line. Nice touch to supply fresh fruit, chocolates and milk. The vegetable garden and rural feeling in the back yard made for a sense of relaxation. The bonus was beach towels and we didn't need to fill up extra space in our suitcase with the ones we brought. Note to self - leave ours behind next time!! This was the first Airbnb experience for us and we couldn't have been happier. We needed to be close to family over the Christmas period and it was more convenient than I originally thought. We will be back when we need to visit WA next.

  • Marj was such a helpful host, she picked us up from Clairmont station on arrival, drove us around to the athletics track where my daughter was competing and gave us a tour of the neighbourhood. The spacious fully self contained apartment was perfect, also having tea and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge, fruit and chocolates was a lovely touch. Marj also offered us the use of her bikes if we felt like cycling anywhere. The property is within minutes of the Fremantle train line to either go into Perth city or to Fremantle. I can highly recommend this property and our fantastic host Marj. Couldn't be more helpful. Certainly a great experience.

  • If I had to score this apartment out of 10, I would give it a 12! Marj was a great hostess - maintained contact in the weeks and days before my visit and welcomed me when I arrived. When it rained, she dropped off an umbrella. Milk in the fridge, fruit and biscuits all were little unexpected extras that were greatly appreciated. The apartment was very clean; bed very comfortable - it offered everything and more for a very comfortable business trip to Perth. And exceptional value for money compared with Perth hotels and motels which offer fewer amenities and less space. I felt very lucky - and privileged - to be able to stay. I will return!

    Almost new luxury apartment.
    Almost new luxury apartment with large balcony. Communal facilities include pool, spa, gym, sauna, steam room, yoga room, BBQ.
    The apartment is situated in a residential area in the Western Suburbs. There are no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Claremont Quarter has a good selection of both and is a few minutes drive or a 20 minute walk. Swanbourne beach is a similar distance and offers white sand and the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Surfing, kite-surfing and stand-up paddle boarding are all available nearby. This would make a great base for day trips to explore Perth, Fremantle, Rottnest Island and maybe longer trips to Margaret River or the Pinnacles.

    I am offering a private room in my lovely home in Claremont, an affluent western suburb of Perth. The house is in a great location close to shops and transports. You could walk to Claremont Quarter, a trendy and upscale shopping centre, to enjoy some shopping or a meal (20 minutes walking). The Claremont Swimming Pool is just a short walk from the house if you want to take a dip during the hot summer.The house is also close to Lake Claremont, a beautiful walking park. Perth famous beaches are just within 5-10 minutes drive away. The private room has a queen bed (equipped with aircond/heater/electric blanket) and clean towels will be provided as well. Toilet and bathroom are shared and you will have access to the following amenities: - Washing machine (powder included) and dryers; - Free wifi; - Fully equipped kitchen (but please clean up after use!); and - Living room with TV and VCD player. The guest room is suitable for individual or couple (maximum of 2 people - okay with an additional baby / child). If you have a third or fourth adult, happy to host them in my other guest room (sun room) at an additional charge of $35 per night per person. The only draw back is that the sun room does not have a solid door but separated by a Japanese 'Noren' at the back of the house. If you have any questions, let me know.     Claremont is a wealthy suburb in Perth’s prestigious west. Therefore, this area is safe and central. There are plenty of shops and cafes on the suburb’s streets, and there’s the Claremont Quarter - a two-storey shopping haven offering mostly high-end labels and nice restaurants.

    You will stay in a private and fully furnished large bedroom with quality linens and comfy bed. The house is on a great location, close to train and buses, most importantly it is in a safe family oriented suburb. The room has a good size walk-in-robe, TV, ensuite bathroom and shared toilet. Queen size comfortable bed, with clean linens, donnas and pillows.
    The house is modern with minimalist design and equiped with modern appliances. The entire house is well maintained, clean and tidy. Location is great with bus stop 3 min wal away, and train station 7 minutes away. Nearby the famous Cottesloe, Swanbourne beach. Upmarket Claremont Quarter shopping mall is just two train stop away. The room is large and clean. It has a queen size bed, with a good size walk-in wardrobe, plenty of space! You will have a private ensuite bathroom. Your own TV ( AppleTV enabled for movies) Access to Powder room / toilet is via a door connected to the ensuite bathroom. Note, the toilet maybe shared by occasional guests from time to time (although with three toilets in the house, it is likely you will be the only user) Linen, pillow and blankets will be provided.
    The suburb is a family oriented and in an upmarket neighbourhood, safe and peaceful.

Perth's premier beach- Cottesloe beach & famous Claremont Quarter all offering a brilliant choice for shopping, restaurants and bars don't forget the convenient to Royal Show, major hospitals & UWA or other major functions close by with public transports. Please respect my home and treat it with respect.
    The apartment is situated in a few thousand square meter of the land and is right in the centre of Claremont. 27 units in the apartment and my home is in the second storey not only have tree view but also north facing. The apartment is well maintained, provide conveniences, comfort as well as safe environment. The area is fully enclosed, and locked, with code only access to units, laundry & courtyard. A beautiful leafy Mary Reserve right in your window provide "HOME" to many birds . You can grab a rug and have a nice picnic under the trees if you don't mind to share the trees in the Reserve with the birds. I am a minimalism and it reflects to my home. The home is in a 44 sqm; simple design (no clutter) all necessary things included. Coffee, tea, sugar, oils, spices, salt and pepper and many more items are provided to ensure you only need your main ingredients whilst cooking.
    Claremont is in a fantastic location, just 10km from the CBD, 3 km from the beach, 5km from UWA and major hospitals This is a older, very safe suburb, that loves the beach and brunch life, where there are pop up cafes, restaurants and shopping facilities just a quick walk away. There are river walks just 2 km away down at the swan river, and bike paths that run along the train line and beach road, if you want to get some activities in.

    Claremont is a top-end inner-city suburb. The Claremont Quarter Shopping Centre is a boutique mall offering access to quality retail and grocery stores. Trendy cafés and restaurants are found within and around the mall. Claremont lake and the Swan river are close-by and are a nature-lovers-paradise. The lake offers native flora and birdlife, while the iconic Swan river is a beautiful, water-lovers playground. The amazing Perth coastline is only a few minutes drive from Claremont. Swim, sunbake, relax or stroll along Cottesloe and Swanbourne beaches. Watch the sunset over the ocean at one of the seaside bars and restaurants. Kings Park, Fremantle and Perth CBD are about 10-20 minutes drive and offer something special to every visitor.

    Recently refurbished interior of a ground floor apartment in a small block. An artist and designer have created an environment you will love to visit. Comfortable modern furnishings with West Australian, hand crafted oak tables give a fresh apartment a designers touch. The main bedroom is spacious and both beds are new. Right in the heart of Claremont, you are 5 mins from the train station, Bay View Terrace with its cafes, bars and restaurants and trendy Claremont quarter shopping center.
    Everything is well set out with basic kitchen equipment for easy meals. Large TV with comfy "L" sofa to watch Netflix or live TV. There is a bike and helmet there for your convenience - the beach is a 15 min ride.
    There are plenty of shops and cafes a short walk away. Bay View Terrace has my favourite Italian restaurant, Nolita. For lunch, Brooklyn Lounge (St Quentin Ave) or a more casual option but still delicious for breakfast or lunch, The Lane Cafe. For shopping, you can't beat the open and airy Claremont Quarter for all your needs. But there are also plenty of interesting specialty shops to be explored in the area.

    A lovely bright and airy Art Deco apartment in a complex of 3 units. It's perfectly situated between the river and the ocean with the Claremont Quarter and Cottesloe shopping precincts nearby. It's also an easy walk to the Swanbourne train station, shops and cafes and the city buses are at your doorstop. There is also an outside area where you can sit in the garden and enjoy the sunshine or a balmy summer evening.
    On arrival there is a welcome of tea, coffee, milk, butter, bread, cereal etc to make your stay more comfortable especially if you arrive late and cant get to the shops.
    Neighbourhood is very easy to get around and close to the University of Western Australia and bus will take you directly to to QE 11 Medical Centre.

    Its a modern home, close to train (5 mins) and bus, easy access to town and visitor friendly. The room is a good size and very comfortable. It has its own private bathroom, Its light and airy with reverse cycle a ceiling fan, and a very comfortable huge king size bed. Beautiful garden spots to sit and enjoy and also a lap pool. You are most welcome to use the kitchen, and laundry etc and wifi provided. Happy to assist in any way I can. WELCOME
    Being 5mins from the train means you have easy access to the city of Perth or Freemantle, and can shop in Claremont quarter, or Subiaco.
    My neighbour hood is safe and friendly. Its a cul-de-sac so not too much traffic and there is a little playground at one end of the street.

  • This Airbnb offered far more than we anticipated and we would thoroughly recommend it to others and stay again. It's a huge home with lovely light bright and airy bedrooms and bathrooms. We were able to use all the outdoor and indoor living space, fabulous dining/ gourmet kitchen space indoors and outdoor designer bbq and dining areas.The swimming pool is enormous and immaculate and lots of secluded places in the landscaped garden to sit quietly and enjoy a wine. There was a separate lounge for guests that included a huge flat screen tv and projector. A supersized laundry was there to use.This is all just 5 minutes walk to the train from where you can be in the City of Perth in 15 minutes or Fremantle. The owners are refreshingly welcoming and very accommodating. It often felt we were in our own designer home all alone as we felt relaxed and very comfortable and that is testament to the owners ability to make guests feel so welcome. Very good value for money

    A clean, modern apartment located on the seventh floor of an apartment building close to the heart of Claremont with views to the Swan River.
    The space consists of a large open plan living room, dining room and well-equipped kitchen leading onto a balcony. There are two separate bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, the other with two single beds. Both rooms have a wardrobe for storage. The bathroom/ laundry is spacious with a large bath tub.   • My Husband and I stayed 4 nights in Alana's place. This small yet stylish place had everything we needed! We were pleasantly surprised with the kitchen facilities as we did a lot of cooking instead of eating out. There is a bbq as well. It is walking distance to a great cafe where we could get our morning caffeine fix and an easy uber ride into town for dinner and drinks. It is also a short drive to Cottlesloe beach where there are beautiful sunsets! We would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be close enough to the city but stay in a quiet suburban area. Thank you Alana!

    We live in a character 1940’s house with high ceilings, jarrah floorboards and a new weatherboard addition at the back including an open plan dining/living room/kitchen and a shady backyard area. Bus and Swanbourne train station are both between a 2-5 minute walk. Swanbourne Beach is a 20 min walk with Cottesloe just south. Claremont, for Eateries & groceries, is only a 10 min walk or one train stop. We are on the Fremantle train line, roughly half way between the city and historical Fremantle.
    I’ve been hosting guests and international students for over 9 years so our house is set up well for visitors to come and go as they wish. We have a casual , yet homely vibe in the house and have tried to make the space as comfortable, welcoming and practical as possible. Bit of a home away from home I hope!
    Our neighbourhood is one of Perth’s older suburbs with many character houses, trees and birdlife. Lake Claremont is close by (10 min walk) as is the Swan River ( 15 min walk) & Swanbourne Beach is a very pleasant 20 min walk

  • Leigh's place is clean, beautiful and at a good location. It's a 6 minute walk from Swanbourne train station and a 3 minute walk from a bus stop. It's easy to get to various beaches - if you don't feel like walking, Uber is an easy and reasonably priced alternative. Leigh is thoughtful. She provided shower towels, beach towels and even earplugs when she knew I was woken up by the crow's noise the first morning there. It's really nice getting to know Leigh and everyone. It was overall a very nice stay at Leigh's place - highly recommended. Cheers!

The Apartment is beautiful and clean, and Karen and her husband were very welcoming hosts, sharing with us things to do in the area. It is great for long or short stays.
