This unique A-frame is designed & built by our family to create a home away from home. Nestled in 5 acres of woods with stunning views of Lake Superior & the sounds of waves outside your door; you have to experience it for yourself.

The Ferny Fern: Off-grid cabin and sauna near G.M.

Enjoy serene North woods seclusion just two and a half miles from Grand Marais! At the end of a foot path you'll find yourself at this charming off-grid cabin set in the forests of the Lake Superior bluff. This quaint cabin is filled with windows bringing views of the surrounding wood. It features a polished/rustic interior complete with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and wood stove. Fall River access and guests now have access to a new wood-fired sauna and off grid-shower house.

The Superior View House is your quiet escape to the North Shore. Located just 1 mile from access to Lake Superior, 1/2 mile from the Superior Hiking Trail and 10 minutes from Grand Marais this entire home is an excellent place to set up for a long weekend exploring the Northwoods. The cozy fireplace and large airy living room make for comfortable ways to spend the evenings or days when the whether isn't cooperating, otherwise the three outdoor decks and wood fired sauna are the places to be.

Welcome to Hawkweed House, your peaceful getaway in Grand Marais. The perfect place to explore and enjoy the North Shore, we are located 10 minutes from downtown Grand Marais on a quiet wooded 3 acre lot at the edge of a wildflower meadow. The whole house has recently been updated and remodeled and is filled with light and greenery and offers lots of privacy. The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.
