Welcome to our yurt-The Fireweed. Nestled in beautiful Port Rexton, our yurt puts you close to nature, much like a tent, but with a more comfortable stay and an amazing view of the night sky through the toono! We are within walking distance to the Skerwink Trail, Port Rexton Brewery, Two Whales Cafe and Fisher's Loft. Our location is perfect for exploring and discovering all the Bonavista Peninsula has to offer including hiking trails, boat tours, puffin viewing and amazing breathtaking scenery.

Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Beds are made with linen and throws. Supper cozy

Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Howling Wolf Farm Yurt--A Magical Glamping Retreat

Our 88-acre farm spreads up a steep hillside above the village of Randolph, one mile away. The land is a mixture of open areas where we rotate our sheep flock daily, and wooded land with trails and old stone walls. You might hear the occasional car or truck on a nearby road, but more likely you'll hear our sheep baaing to one another or the cows across the valley trumpeting, or the abundance of birdsong. The energy here is calming and peaceful--we know you will love it as much as we do.

Mariaville Goat Farm Yurt

A charming, stylish 20’ yurt in the woods on our small, off-the-grid goat farm! If you are looking to get away from it all (and still be close to SO much) - this is the place for you! Enjoy a nap in the hammock, s’mores around a campfire, a great night’s sleep under the stars, a freshly-made country breakfast - and goats! Take a walk in the woods...enjoy the artistic landscaping...try goat yoga! Or, experience some of the area’s AMAZING food, beverages, shopping, and attractions!

"Forest Yurt" at Belleisle Bayview Retreat

Summer season open from (May 8 - Oct 31, 2026) and Winter Season (Jan-April weekends only). We offer one night stays! Enjoy this secluded off grid (solar powered) cosy yurt, eclectic furnishings - situated in a private forest environment. On the deck a BBQ with cooking utensils and patio set are provided in summer - no water during winter season (Nov-April 30) - a small chemical toilet is provided. Enjoy the comfortable simplicity and relax in nature; sauna service available 50$.

Yurt - Life in the Round - Saugerties, NY

The 30’ yurt on the southeast edge of the Catskills, has served as an art studio, retaining a calm feeling of relaxation and creative energy. The circular space is simple and comfortable. Large windows and private deck look out onto a gentle incline leading to a scenic pond. You may be awakened by songbirds, the sighting of a heron, hummingbird, or deer. The sounds of peepers or gulping frogs and general sounds of nature at night begin as the sun sets over the mountain. Enjoy!

Bluebell - Kos Retreats @ Frogs Hollow Farm

Bluebell is one of the two luxurious yurts we offer on our 100 acre organic farm. It is gorgeous, bringing you as close to nature as possible without giving up any of the luxuries in life! 450 sq ft of living in the round, it includes a full ensuite bathroom (in the yurt), and your own private deck, firepit, and barbecue outside. We are 15 minutes away from New Paltz, NY, and mere minutes away from the Shawngunk Mountains in the bucolic Hudson Valley.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

The Yurt In The Woods is 30 ft in diameter - 700 spacious sq. ft. It's surrounded by trees and has a yard. 2 night stays required for Weekends. The month of October I require a two night stay. There is a "one" night stay fee of $50 Allowed 2 dogs with the agreement to my animal policy & $50 fee WiFi 1,000 megabits per second a fiber network AC, Outdoor Gas Grill , Outdoor Fire Circle, and Outdoor Shower available June - October

Meet Orange Sunshine - your own secluded yurt, right on the river. Soak in the boho vibe, enjoy a candle lit dinner made in your own kitchenette, and cozy up by the glow of the wood stove in a comfy queen bed. Complete with outdoor shower, private fire pit & outhouse. Only 7 mins to Baddeck. Walk 5 mins down a groomed trail to this incredible off-grid experience.
