Ben's Hut

Set on a working sheep farm, Ben’s Hut offers a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format --- we charge an additional £10 per night for the bunk, this is added automatically when you book for 3 people. There is a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fully insulated with central heating the hut is cosy warm at any time of year. Nearby:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Mining Museum, Metro Centre.

The Waggon at Westcombe

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Only 10 minutes away from Bruton, handy for The Newt and Hauser & Wirth. Westcombe Dairy & Woodsheddings Brewery taproom is a 3 minute walk and the Three Horseshoes a 20 minute stroll.

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

The carriage has been hand built and reclaimed from an old Devon railway carriage into a luxury self contained space - perfect for romantic breaks in nature. We only have one hut, making it a very private, peaceful and exclusive retreat. Nestled in a beautiful dell, surrounded by trees, it overlooks a duck pond and the remains of the old stone limekilns. Plenty of wildlife for nature lovers including a flock of friendly rare breed sheep, hens, rabbits, and owls.
