Private bedroom includes a California king, walk-in closet, hickory hardwood floors, ceiling fan, and an individual thermostat for the second floor to keep you comfortable. Enjoy the high-end finishes of our spa-like carrara marble bathroom that features a rain shower head and bench. The living room boasts a Joybird sofa with a pull out queen sized, memory foam mattress for a restful night’s sleep. Kitchen features custom wood cabinetry, soapstone counters, stainless steel appliances, and a reclaimed wood island with seating. Ceiling fans throughout to keep you cool during hot summers. I am always available by text or phone. I do live in the main house on the property and can be reached in person if arranged. Take a 2-block stroll to burgers, breweries, sushi, gelato, gourmet coffee and tea, and even a speakeasy. Children will love the on-site playground at The Friendly Spot. Our garage loft is a renovated and refurnished 900sf apartment. Clean, simple spaces and furnishings make for a relaxing getaway. We are in the Monte Vista Historic District, a 1-mile square walkable neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown and a 1.5 miles from the Pearl District. Our main house is a 1914 Prairie Style residence sheltered by the largest oak tree in San Antonio. We are happy to share our back yard, pool pavilion, and pool during our guests' stays.
