(no local channels) WiFi Kitchen cook wear, utensils and complementary coffee and tea with to go cups for early mornings. Sit back and relax on the large deck while enjoying the local wildlife, flora, & fauna of the Mississippi Valley Region. The cabin is remote enough to view the stars at night.

Lucy’s House

I don’t charge cleaning fees as my guests have always respected the property and rules. Leave a big … mess expect a charge. The outside of the house is under construction as I’m siding the house and added a mud room. I’m 66 with new knees so the process is slow especially in winter but nothing going on outside will affect your stay. I get great reviews from my guests who all seem to find the interior relaxing and tastefully decorated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay

This little cottage is a Rock Island Historic house. Nestled among the large Victorians, it was built in 1879 and housed various workers, from a blacksmith, to a wallpaper hanger! Located just blocks from the Mississippi River you can walk along a paved bike path with gorgeous views. In the evening enjoy the vibrant nightlife, with music and a dinner playhouse! This tiny historic cottage is great for a quick night, but perfect for class reunions, weddings and the John Deer Classic!
