Welcome to our 2 bedroom end terrace house in Denton Holme, Carlisle! We can accommodate 4 people, with a king size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. We can also provide 2 travel cots. We cater for families with children of any age, people traveling for work or breaking up a long journey and dog lovers on holiday. The house is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Carlisle, round the corner from nearby shops and a short stroll from a lovely walk by the River Caldew.

Stanwix Cottage dates back to the 1650s when it was part of the coaching Inn which is now the Crown and Thistle. It has been recently fully renovated and is an ideal comfortable base to tour the City of Carlisle, Cumbria, including the Lake District or Southern Scotland. It has three reception rooms including a conservatory overlooking the lovely enclosed garden with patio and three bedrooms, one ensuite. It is within walking distance of the city centre and Rickerby Park and the River Eden.

We are dog friendly! We are also child friendly! Ghyllie Cottage is a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage that is over 200 years old! Wetheral is just 3 miles from junction 42 on the M6 and the village has great amenities including a Village Shop and post office, Cafe, and a great pub just across the road! Wetheral Railway Station is a short walk from the cottage with regular trains to Carlisle and Newcastle. Easy access to Gretna Green, the Lake District, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Byre is a cosy 19th century barn conversion forming part of a Grade 1 listed, 14th Century PeleTower and Farmhouse at a small settlement near Highbridge, Dalston Cumbria. Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.

Head outside to it’s own private dining area overlooking Blencathra which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of exploring or take a soak in the hot tub and read a good book!
