Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! COTTAGE IS RENTED ON A WEEKLY BASIS- GUESTS MAY ARRIVE AT 300PM ON SUNDAY AND DEPART BY 10 am ON SATURDAY. (6 NIGHTS) Recently restored cottage, 15-feet from the water, on 8-mile long Toddy Pond. Water-front cottage contains a master bedroom, a full bath, kitchen, living room, and dining area. Newly renovated detached bunk house has one full-size bed. New lighting and skylights allow plenty of sunlight to brighten the interior of the bunk house and cottage. 1 dog, 20 lbs. or less is allowed.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
