The beautiful village of Hamsterley boasts village greens and a fantastic local country pub. Enjoy a break with well behaved dogs and children more than welcome. A large enclosed garden with a low wall allows uninterrupted views over countryside and enjoyment of our many animals, incl alpacas.

Phil's Cottage is a beautiful one bedroom stone cottage with stunning countryside views. The cottage is a recently refurbished barn conversion ideally located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. The property offers plenty of private parking, and outdoor seating area to the front and pretty courtyard to the rear with outdoor seating . Dogs are subject to an additional £25 per stay. Maximum one fully house trained well behaved adult dog by prior permission from owners.

Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

Stow House Farm Cottages, Cornmill Cottage

Situated on a rural farm on the outskirts of Durham, our three bedroom, stone built cottage has been lovingly converted from the farm’s former cornmill. It can comfortably accommodate six guests and is perfect for larger families or groups of friends. For those with wanting to holiday with larger groups we have Ivy cottage and Bramble Cottage next door which sleep 4 and 3 guests respectively. Grange Cottage

The Grange is a very large cottage which can now sleep up to 11 people in four bedrooms. Over the last few months, we have done a lot of work to upgrade this cottage. We have replaced the main bathroom, and fitted a new kitchen (now with a dishwasher !!) Originally, this was 2 cottages, and we have now repurposed the second living room to be another double bedroom. If you have a large group of people, there is another table and more chairs in the cottage.
