This very private cottage is clean, bright and comfortable. A wood stove and all natural wood interior with vaulted ceiling making it bright, comfortable, spacious, and inviting. The peace of the forest is rejuvenating and the outdoor bath tub for two a great joy. Beautiful hikes, kayaking, mountain biking and whale watching opportunities abound, and on rainy days, an eclectic selection of dvds. a A wonderful place to unplug for a few days. The tranquil landscape includes big trees, perennial flower and vegetable gardens, an expansive lawn that is great for an afternoon bocce session, and many private areas to escape with a glass of wine. A separate office and a new wood fired sauna is also available for guests!

It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
