Argyle Cottage is very cosy! A fully self contained house close to the hospital and a short stroll to the main street. It is surrounded by a beautiful verandah that looks out onto a cottage garden. Walking in the mountains or a visit to the observatory, viewing the dark skies or a drive to the Sculptures in the Pilliga or perhaps a visit to Pilliga Pottery , Argyle Cottage provides a home away from home to return to and relax.

The Old Schoolhouse was originally built for the owners’ children to attend correspondence school but has since been transformed into self-catered accommodation with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Experience the enchanting octagonal “fairy tale castle”, hand-crafted from local timbers. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large, Swiss-style balcony, and take a shower in a hand-sculpted masterpiece! Preferably no pets in The Old Schoolhouse.

Nestled in the iconic Pilliga Scrub is this homely retreat. Langholm is ideal for bird watching, keep an eye out for the rare Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. Take a day trip to the Warrumbungles, then after your climb, relax in the Pilliga hot bore bath, only a short drive away. Please be aware that Langholm is located on a dirt road being in a National Park ( it’s mostly all weather due to the red soil ) but has an odd pothole, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended.
