We are located just 1 mile from downtown Potsdam, 1 mile from Clarkson, 2 miles from SUNY Potsdam, and 10 miles from SLU and SUNY Canton. We know you'll love our place!

Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Sunset Cottage is cleaned in compliance with CDC COVID-19 Lodging cleaning standards before you vacation there. Sunset Cottage is only 15 feet from Tupper Lake with a sandy spot for launching canoes/kayaks and a large dock where you can moor your powerboat if you bring one. Dock seating and swimming with a dog friendly stair. Fire pit with firewood on the lawn with Adirondack chairs for your use. Two, kayaks come with the rental. Newly renovated interior with beautiful Adirondack decor.

Sleep at the Stables- A Country Retreat

Enjoy our country getaway on 130 acres, just minutes from Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton. Explore our horse barn, hiking trails, stream, or relax by the pond. We are located close to great snowmobiling and skiing trails also! The studio apartment is located above a newly constructed garage, that is not attached to our house so you have plenty of privacy. It is an open layout with a queen bed, a daybed, and a twin trundle that can be pulled out.

Riverside Cabin & Nature Trails

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. At our clean and comfortable Loft suite, you will find yourself close to the colleges and downtown activities, while staying in a country setting on six acres of land, beautiful trees, dark, star-lit nights, and we have a swing set in the backyard. You will enjoy a completely private unit with its own private entrance and no shared spaces at all. Clarkson University is close enough to see from the property. Nordic ski/paddle/swim/ snowmobile - waterfront!

Waterfront property on Arbuckle Pond with views of water from all windows and access to the private pond and Higley Flow. This cottage nestled in the (practically black fly free) woods will delight your family and friends. Swimming, kayaking, SUP-ing, nordic skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking. Kayak and swim right from the cottage or walk across the road to the dock on Higley. You will delight in the beauty inside and outside of this beautiful space.

Beautiful Scenic Riverfront Home

This is a beautifully renovated house. River access for kayaking, canoeing, swimming. kayaks and life jackets are available for guests. There is a large back yard with a firepit facing the water as well as a back porch/deck and a large side/front deck to enjoy watching the water and wildlife. The area is quiet and peaceful but yet directly located in the town of Potsdam. There are window AC units in each bedroom as well as central heat.

This well loved family-friendly river cottage is ready for you. The river is just steps from the house with breath taking views and sunsets to remember. Great fishing from the waterfront and dock. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit near the shore. The water is wonderful for those swimmers in your family. There are paddle boats and kayaks in season. Conveniently located close to St. Lawrence University and Clarkson.

Cozy Riverfront Cottage

This cottage is located in northern New York on the Raquette River. It is a beautiful area within one and a half hours of Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Ottawa, Canada. It is within a few minutes of Canton and Potsdam New York. There are many hiking trails, lakes and rivers which offer boating, fishing and swimming. Nearby Saranac Lake has wonderful summer theater and Lake Placid has world class skiing.

Raquette River Retreat- Potsdam NY

Welcome to Potsdam, NY. There is a $50 fee per each dog. No cats allowed (one of us has a severe cat allergy).
