This four bedroom spacious holiday home situated on 1/2 an acre garden is just outside the Village of Foxford, and is ideally located between the two larger towns of Castlebar and Ballina. Just 29 minutes from Knock International Airport, 25 minutes from blue flag beaches and the Wild Atlantic Way. The Village is situated on the banks of the famous river Moy, one of the most famous salmon fishing rivers in Europe and a haven for fishermen from all over the world who return every year to fish.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

A great choice for a large family group, a group of friends, or a couple. Knock Ireland West International Airport is approx 30 mins away. There are woods, lakes and amazing beaches very close by. Ballina Town is only 8km away. Combine your stay with the perfect pint of Guinness and a chat with the locals, next door!

Mount falcon also have lovely walks, a lake and kids playground.
