Corazon Del Mar: A Beach House That Has Everything

Corazon Del Mar sits about 800 feet from the beach. Nearly everything is provided to our guests. All you will need to bring are your personal items. The house is pet and smoke free, however we provide two designated smoking areas outside. The house has a large outside deck for tanning and also a screen porch to escape from the mosquitoes. There is a large picnic area beneath the house with a gas grill, storage area, picnic table, porch swing and bench. There is also an outside shower.

My husband and I enjoy meeting new people and sharing the treasures in the Galveston Bay Area. We are located just 1.5 miles from the Kemah Boardwalk, minutes from NASA/Space Center, & halfway between Galveston and Downtown Houston. You’ll love our place because of the quaint island setting, great for sunrise and sunsets. Come watch the boats passing and relax on island time, all while being respectful of our neighbors. We have a pool (not heated) and hot tub. No parties allowed.

Our location is very peaceful with a great fishing dock just steps away.

You’ll love taking walks in the Christmas tree fields and drinking coffee on the porch overlooking the pond. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, bird watchers, writers, and visitors who don't want to stay in a hotel. We're just 23 miles from the Texas Medical Center. The 1847 Powhattan House & Living History Museum

Until there is time-travel, staying in the 1847 Powhatan House may be the next best thing. This is the 3rd oldest house in Galveston and has an amazing, almost unbelievable history. This beautiful Greek Revival style home is located 3 blocks from the beach and close to the Strand. The story of the house is told in a brief documentary on YouTube entitled “The Amazing History of Galveston's 1847 Powhatan House.”

Once you’re inside the Garden gate, it feels like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
